LAVA Collecive has a show at The Rag Factory on 22nd July. This time, showcasing the photography of Ashes 57. As her thousands of Flikr followers will testify, Ashes is a prolific and talented photographer with a massive back catalogue to choose from.
Situated just off Brick Lane, the location is good, and Silas and his merry band of brothers are really accommodating and friendly. The smoker-friendly courtyard is a valuable asset and it is a great place for a party!
This show is on for one night only; we’ll be open from 6-11pm. We’ve invited Standard Place resident Jon Rust to DJ at the event, with support from LAVA DJs.

Conform: attend the Whitecross Street Party! This year’s Whitecross Street Party takes place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 July and promises to be the biggest and most successful the venue has ever hosted.
Launching a six-week exhibition of urban art, the theme of this year’s party is ‘The Rise of the Non-conformists’ with some of the world’s most creative and non-conformist artists gathering in the heart of London’s internationally renowned art scene. Here they shall lay siege to the notion that things always have to remain the same.

C215 has a second solo show 'Midnight Dreams' at Signal Gallery. In the show the artist has found a new style, full of colour and fantasy, recalling memories of his childhood in Orleans - stencil artwork of the highest quality. If you'd like to attend the Private view on the 22nd July please let us know via email. info (at) signalgallery (dot) com

Archipelago : 'A sea with many islands; a group or chain of many islands'.

SRI is an artist and illustrator of Eurasian heritage. Having grown up in both South East Asia and the UK, she draws upon the experience of this mixed background as a significant influence in her work.
In reference to her cultural heritage, 'Archipelago' is a body of work inspired by nostalgia for the lush and tropical landscapes of her childhood.

Depicting ethereal scenery fused with a gentle surrealist and mystic quality; nature and femininity are predominant recurring themes in her work.
Enchanted floating islands, sleeping giants, rock formations and delicate tropical flora all feature, inciting the the viewer to indulge their imagination and create an interpretation of his or her own construction.

SRI is the third artist to be featured by Eastpak Gallery at their flagship store in the heart of London's Carnaby Street.
