Mike Ballard has just released a new print:
'Good for one Fare'
Inspired by the Manfred Kirkheimer Film 'Stations of the elevated', Ballard has created a series of new collages.
Each collage representing a station on the path to enlightenment / elevation. The First print release from this series is 'Good for one Fare'
Referencing the text that appears on the old New York subway tokens, this piece forms a transit space temple, housing cosmic astral travelers such as John Coltrane, Sun Ra, Dj Qbert, Ananda Shanka, Biggie Smalls, the 45 King and Albert Ayler.
